A Calling to Serve Through Auto Care
Owning an auto repair shop had been a dream for Blake Allen for over 20 years, but he knew the timing had to be right. In the fall of 2021, Blake and his wife Nicole entered a season of prayer and fasting at their local church. Through this time of reflection and faith, they felt called to take a leap, leaving a steady career behind to create something purposeful, service-driven, and rooted in integrity.
With a clear vision and unwavering faith, SPES Automotive and Diagnostics was established in January 2022. From the start, the mission was simple: to provide a place where hope can be found and integrity is our guide. Today, SPES Automotive continues to grow, serving the Lincoln, NE community with honesty, expertise, and a client-first approach.
Meet the SPES Automotive Family
Blake and Nicole Allen built SPES Automotive and Diagnostics on a foundation of faith, family, and service. Their mission goes beyond auto repair—they are committed to investing in people, building relationships, and running a shop where integrity guides every decision.
With over 20 years of hands-on experience, Blake specializes in advanced diagnostics, helping clients understand their options and make informed choices. Outside the shop, he enjoys hunting, cooking, disc golf, and visiting his family farm in Missouri. With a background in accounting and office management, Nicole ensures SPES runs smoothly while creating a welcoming experience for every client. She loves reading, handwritten letters, exploring old farm buildings, and walking Nebraska’s scenic landscapes.
Together, they are raising four wonderful children—Abigayl, Lucas, Cheyenne, and Charlotte—who keep them busy with volleyball, homeschooling, and community service. Their family enjoys camping, road-tripping, playing games, and keeping up their weekly pizza nights.

We believe every car tells a story, and understanding yours starts with a conversation. How do you use your vehicle? Is it your daily commuter, a weekend road-tripper, or your workhorse? The way you drive impacts the services your car truly needs. A city driver and a highway commuter have different wear patterns, safety concerns, and maintenance priorities. That’s why we take the time to learn about your car’s role in your life before making recommendations.
After this one-on-one discussion, we perform a Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI), giving you a complete picture of your vehicle’s condition. A full report, including photos, is sent to your phone, allowing you to see exactly what we see. Our recommendations are based on urgency, safety, and your long-term goals—no pressure, just expert advice.
You can approve repairs with a simple text, and if you haven’t reviewed the report within an hour, Blake personally follows up. Our ASE-certified technicians handle the work with transparency and precision. Once your car is ready, you’ll receive a Tekmetric notification, followed by a call from Blake to confirm pickup.
